Butt… First Let’s Revise Our Chakras
A chakra is Sanskrit for “wheel” and is regularly depicted as spinning, colored wheels of energy. A chakra is an energy center in the body, with the major seven running along the length of the spine. The throat chakra is the fifth chakra from the bottom of the spine, located in the center of your throat.
Throat Chakra’s Nature Element
The throat chakra is associated with the element of sound, ether (space), and the sense of hearing, as well as the action of speaking.
Through the throat, the sound is released into the air and its vibration can be felt not just in our ears, but also in our whole body. Nothing to prove that this is an important instrument of communication and expression.

Bija Mantra For Throat Chakra
The Bija Mantra associated with Vishuddha chakra is HAM.
In Vedic tradition, mantras, the sound vibrations were ancient tools that tap into that underlying current of energy that exists in this entire universe yet out of reach of one’s perception
Mantra chanting invokes vibrations in the throat to amplify the healing process and leading to a major transformation by creating a channel for the movement of cosmic energies within our bodies.
The universe is bounded with the vibrating atoms, with each atom spinning unfathomably fast at its own frequency. Mantras just help us to get on that same frequency. And when we are in perfect sync with the universe, we manifest to “AHAM BRAHMASMI (I am the universe)”. Which is also a very powerful affirmation to set your intention.
Science Of Voice
It seems like science is yet to define the way voice is associated with your real self. I may love to sing in spite of the fact that l don’t have a classical voice because it touches something quite deep inside me.
Evolution pioneer Charles Darwin theorized that the human voice may have originated when certain chest and throat muscles contracted in excitement or fear; in other words, he believed voice and emotion emerge from the same sentiments.
Though science hasn’t figured the exact reason, the larynx, or voice box, is thought to be wired directly into the brain’s emotional center, the limbic system. This may be why a lump in the throat is often the first sign of emotional distress.

Mudras, basically hand gestures to help create the energy flow from the fingers to the rest of the body. This process wonderfully improves the reflexes of the brain.

Each finger represents the following five elements:
Index finger- (Air-Vayu)
Middle finger- (Space-Aakasha)
Ring finger- (Earth-Prithvi)
Little finger- (Water-Jala)
Let’s do Vishuddha Mudra
The practice of Throat Chakra Mudra is done with the interlocking of the fingers inside the palm, with the tips of the thumbs pressed against each other.

Essential Oils For Throat healing
1. Lavender as Throat Chakra Essential Oil
In Chakra Anatomy Lavender is an adaptogenic essential oil, it works wherever it is needed.
The essential oil of Lavender is beneficial for all seven chakras.
For throat chakra healing, on a physical level, Lavender is useful to heal mouth abscess and oral thrush.
On an emotional level, Lavender promotes peace, love, and awareness. When we feel the love in our hearts and peace, deeper layers of emotional pain can surface to our conscious awareness. This is necessary for clearing of the repressed energy and allowing free flow through the throat chakra.
Known as an aphrodisiac, Jasmine is also known as one of the throat chakras essential oils for its effect on the voice. It is used in cases of a hoarse voice.
Penetrating the deeper layers of our soul, Jasmine opens us up to repressed emotional pain, allowing energy flow through the throat chakra.
Other essential oils such as Tea-tree oil, Peppermint oil, Lemongrass, Eucalyptus Oil are also good for throat health. This set of essential oils is all in one, that said, for throat chakra wellness as well for the health of other chakras too.
Today’s sequence will help you get more connected with your truth. Therefore, expand and relax the throat, twist the spine, and move your neck in many different directions, creating more energy and space. Also, I encourage you to try writing and sharing your truth with someone. Or you can put your notes in an empty bowl.
Be an active listener. Try to indulge in conversations. Stop trying to think of what you will say when the person stops talking.
Spend time in silence. Calm your throat chakra for a bit. This can be great if you are a talkative person. And get a neck massage. Simple!
